In the morning a driver guide will pick you where you will be and take you t o Olpopongi Maasai Village. You will have a vehicle drive o f 1 to 2 hours depending the speed and the traffic jam. Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village and Museum is the first realistic Maasai Boma and Museum with accommodation facilities in Tanzania. Olpopongi gives an exceptional Maasai and wildlife experiences in West-Kilimanjaro Maasai land just 75 km from Moshi.
Reaching at the village you will experience the wonderful lives and cultures o f the Maasai. Before entering there the company will pay a fee as entrance fee that fee is used by the whole community to obtain water, education, medical services, electricity and other social services.
Also you will see Maasai jewelry no wonder how beautiful they look they have been made locally and handmade, if you are attracted you can buy some for your decoration but also for community support. The tour is mainly aiming at giving you a clear picture of the authentic daily lives, cultures and traditions of the Maasai.
In this tour you will have a wonderful opportunity t o d o hunting using Maasai techniques and tactics but also see their natural medicines. Later in the afternoon the local lunch will be prepared for you.
After the whole day enjoyment you will be transferred back t o Arusha and specifically to the place you were taken unless you give further instructions.
