Begin your journey through lush forest ecosystems filled with blue monkeys and colorful turacos, one of the few places on the northern safari circuit where the rare black-and-white colobus monkey can be easily seen. From rich biodiversity to peaceful scenery, this park offers a refreshing alternative to larger safari destinations.
Enjoy a guided walking safari near Mount Meru with an armed ranger, followed by game drives across the park’s open areas. From the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater to sightings of buffalo, giraffes, and possibly leopards, this safari delivers a memorable and compact African wildlife experience.

After being welcomed t o Arusha, in the morning you will begin your safari to Arusha National Park. The entrance gate o f Arusha National Park leads into the forest of inhabited blue monkeys and colourfulturacos and trogons - the only place on the northern safari circuit where the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey are easily seen.
I n the midst o f the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds o f buffalo and warthog. While in Arusha National Park you will be able t o enjoy the view o f Mount Meru by walking close to it for about 2 t o 3 hours with armed ranger who will be accompanying you throughout. Although elephants are uncommon in Arusha National Park, and lions are absent altogether, leopards and spotted hyenas may be seen. In the evening you will be transferred back to Arusha in your lodge for dinner and overnight
