After the safari briefing, your driver guide will pack your luggage in a 4x4 Land Cruiser Vehicle where he will make sure everyone gets a seat with a window for a clear view. You will then begin your approximately 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Although it is one of Tanzania’s smaller wildlife parks, it offers incredible diversity. Bird lovers will especially enjoy sightings of flamingos, yellow-billed storks, and many other species around the lake.
One of the highlights is the Treetop Walkway, a 370m airwalk rising through the forest canopy. This unique experience allows you to walk across suspension bridges reaching up to 18 meters high, offering stunning views of butterflies, monkeys, and birds.
Lake Manyara is also famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, as well as baboons, blue monkeys, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes.
In the afternoon, enjoy lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. After a full day of exploration, you will return to Arusha in the evening.
